3D Product Renders & Print Production

At AbelsonTaylor Group, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of print-based projects, specializing in producing highly detailed and precise product renders. These projects involve working with 3D programs such as Cinema4D, RedShift, and Octane, alongside Photoshop for retouching. I truly enjoy the challenge of interpreting concepts and designs into realistic 3D representations of products such as capsules, bottles, packaging, and more. We must ensure final images are polished and print-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D Modeling & Rendering: Oversee 3D artists model and render product images that capture realistic textures, lighting, and details.

  • Post-Production & Retouching: Supervise the enhancement of renders to perfect the final images, ensuring renders look sharp and true to the client’s specifications.

  • Print Proofs & Quality Control: Collaborate with the print team to verify all images meet color accuracy, resolution, and format requirements for print production.

Example Projects:

  • Product Render for Neurocrine Biosciences INGREZZA Capsules: Created realistic 3D product renders of capsules for a marketing campaign, ensuring the final images aligned with the client’s visual identity and print specifications. Multiple versions of these capsules were produced. There were 3 different doses: 40mg, 60mg, and 80mg. Two different types of deliverables: one closed capsule and one open capsule that showed the granules spilling out when opened by the consumer.

  • Product Packaging for Biogen Zurzuvae Packaging: Developed detailed renders of product packaging, the front and back of the blister pack and the box. We worked closely with the print team to ensure the final designs were production-ready, and worked with the creative and development teams to use the render in a 360 degree flip animation for the clients website.

Author of Children’s Book

In 2024, I teamed up with my Dose coworker and wrote the sequel children’s book in the Little Amanda series. The character that drives the book was created based on my coworker’s wife. Little Amanda is a spunky, little girl who is eager to go on as many adventures as her parents allow. She has a tendency of getting into a little bit of mischief. Our book follows Little Amanda as she ventures across the globe being a tourist in 10 different cities. We donated all the proceeds raised to the Ronald McDonald House Charity during the holiday season. We are currently working towards producing a third and fourth book.
